One feels such a silly fella putting up one's umbrella

Will Young. There's nothing he wouldn't do for charity.

Apart from going out in the rain.

Apparently, playing a charity do in Durban - in aid of something or other - he'd been given his pink champagne, and his pink towels, and nobody had minded too much when he refused to be photographed with some kids. But then it started raining and he refused to go on stage.

A stage with a roof.

Assuming the 3AM Girls have got their facts straight, we can only assume he's making the most of his fame while it's still here.

It has to be true if the 3am girls wrote it!!!! the pinacle of fab journalism!!

Im more inclined to believe the reporter from a SA newspaper who wrote

"What is it about big- name concerts in Durban and the rain? Every time we get a touring act here, the floodgates open. However, despite the downpour, the Unite of the Stars concert was not a complete washout. Will Young clearly shared my unapologetic joy and couldn't resist joining them on-stage showing off a few dance moves - to the delight of the crowd. Speaking of the original UK Idols winner, he, along with Ronan Keating, had a longer set (15 more than the 30 minutes allocated to the others) - and rightly so. Apart from his signature hits Light My Fire, Your Game and Leave Right Now, he also had a ball singing Venus, the song Bananarama covered, complete with their (campy) dance routine. At one point he even caught a bra on his foot, kicked it around and said, "I'm not sure what to do with this . . . the story of my life."

The best bits included his singing out the names of his band and crew, giving them their well-deserved moment in the spotlight and a quick version of Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head . . . just for us poor sodden fans. And while no actual drops fell on his head, we still applauded"
