The Frit-ellis

Apparently, the Fratellis are afraid to leave their houses.

No, no; not because of angry crowds burning them in effigy. It's because they're so very, very popular, says Jon:

"We get recognised more in public. There's a school 50 metres down the road and I have to make sure it's not breaktime because I can't go out during that time. I have to stay in if I need eggs or bacon, or milk or juice at those times."

It's not clear if it's safe for him to head out to buy baked beans, washing up liquid or bread.

Come on, you have to feel for him. He stumbles out of bed at 10.30, heads to the kitchen for a nice bit of breakfast, makes a lovely pot of tea...d'oh! No eggs! Pops to the bedroom, pulls on his tracky bottoms, goes to the front door - just in time to hear the bell from the school down the road. Double d'oh! Life is a cruel mistress. He's gunna have to have a piece of toast and sit in front of Fern and Pippy for 20 minutes till the kids - those wily little Fratelli fans, each and every one of the 1200 of 'em in the school - are safely back in lessons. I don't know how these popstars even get through the day, so myriad and insurmountable are their problems.
