Suddenly, the Manics get serious

"I think people take music too seriously. We are cross that Radio 1 don't play us. But we'll do a Christmas single to completely shred any possible credibility we have left.

- James Dean Bradfield, September

"The song is finished, and there's all the traditional sounds like sleigh-bells. It's a proper Wizzard style tune. However we were worried about looking like dickheads, so aren't going to make it an official release... it's just too cheesy."

- Sean Moore, October

Hmmmm......James Dean Bradfield, the man who's band penned and performed songs complaining about the banking system, third world exploitation, Auschwitz and self-muiltation....complaining that people take music too seriously?

A Generation terrorist indeed.
